There are many reasons why you might choose to opt for a more gentle approach to class. The heart of the practice is the same as the Somatic Yoga that I teach, however the practices are adapted so that the benefits of yoga can be experienced by everyone, regardless of age or injury. In a Gentle Yoga class we limit time spent weight bearing through the wrists and knees, do get in touch if you’re unsure if this is the class for you.
Gentle Yoga is a great aid to:
- Improving posture, strength and mobility
- Breathing for well being
- Relaxation for body and mind
