I have been practising yoga for over twenty five years. In my younger days I focused on the physical practice for strength and flexibility. However, since the birth of my children, my yoga has changed and I now also greatly value the deeper and more subtle aspects of the practice including breath awareness, relaxation and meditation.
We talk of ‘doing yoga’ but the truth is that yoga is more a state of being. The word Yoga itself means to ‘bring together- in union’. A true yoga practice creates an experience of inner wholeness and contentment – a feeling of ‘harmony’ in body, mind and spirit. I experience this as coming into ‘right relationship’ with myself and the world.
I am fully qualified and insured, holding a Teaching Diploma with The British Wheel of Yoga.
